1.) Product. Honestly its horribly designed and hard to get users engaged. Anyone that isn’t an engineer or pm can tell you how to make it better.
2.) Leadership. Some folks are natural manager and some really aren’t. Plain and simple.
3.) Cliques. Older Fluxxers are more inclined for promotions and awards vs newer Fluxxers. Lots of biased toward people who are “it” very those that aren’t. This isn’t high school anymore...
4.) Work Hours for some teams. Before anyone says “Well its a startup” sure, but working till 1-3am isn’t what people signup for...
5.) Clientele. Honestly, if your passion isn’t in foundations and non profits OR have worked in thar space, don’t bother.
6.) Everything else. Lots of mis-management, incorrect vision, ways to downplay you, no progression on career, passive aggressive tendencies by bad managers...etc
