Pros
I made 70K as the GM
Cons
I applied for area coach (another name for district manager). I’ve been a DM for other large chains and also been a multi-unit franchisee for a chain as well. During the interview they want me to be an area coach and talked all about the perks and company car etc. said I need to train as a GM for a few months first. I agreed and was never spoken to again about area coach role. It was a bait and switch. Flynn St. Louis only passes bad employees to different stores. I tried to terminate a thief who stole money on camera. They moved her to a different store because they are shorthanded and she’s trained. Flynn has terribly low standards. I quit after one year of lies and false promises. I routinely worked 60 hours in the store and was expected to answer all calls even while on vacation with my family. Als EXPECTED to work on schedules on my off day.
