Pros

Ehh not the biggest fan of this place, we used to have high morale so thats a plus now in the past. Now only pros of working at F.S.N.S. are being able to sleep for a maximum of 4 hours every night and hoping that you will get a second interview from that other company you interviewed for last week. By the way, not having lunches are illegal f.y.i.

Cons

Our management displays high favoritism. We've tried telling corporate and HR that it is NOT a good idea having managers manage three different labs, but CEO loves doing it so to save the company money on not having good management in each lab. We have some people that get preyed by management. For example, a person that works in a lower department isn't as fast but contributes effectively. Management is constantly talking about how to fire this person not to mention always talking behind employees backs about how bad they are. Im sure that corporate is trying to get rid of them too seeing as theyve been firing productive workers that speak out against bad mgmt in other labs recently. What a shame. Everytime there is a negative review, HR and the management from each lab go on a rampage to try and figure out who wrote it. There's even been rumors, which are evidently true, that they fire the person that wrote the bad review once they find them. I mean just look at HR response from the review from the texas lab posted on march 30th. They actively call former employees and threaten them if they don't remove it. I mean but that is any other state. Here in California, there was a recent case involving online autonomy that showed that we cant be found so leave us alone we are giving you our honest feedback, and no we dont want to talk to you because you dont do anything about it. I would like for HR and L.A. mgmt to quit trying to figure out who is writing this and fix the actual prob. You can try to find out who it is, nobody is going to tell you anymore thou on the fact that other lab employees getting fired for going to HR so quit posting comments asking for reviewers to contact you because you dont actually care about anyone but your circle in corporate and getting your paycheck. As long as the company runs, you get your thousand dollar dinner everyday lieing to customers and yourself. Yes we used to have good management here but corporate flew over here and fired them all so we are stuck with management that acts like they just graduated from the 12th grade and plays favorites. Corporate doesnt care about the employees, only the crappy managers that they play with their strings like a marionette. Customers here get lied to on a daily basis too. But we all know that corporate will spend their entire day and resources calling former and current employees to get the reviews taken down. So for people that dont work at the california labs, i advise not to put identifying information in your reviews if you dont want to be harassed by the HR of this company. Also, non competes are not valid here in CA so we can leave whenever we want and work for a competitor, which everyone that is not management is trying to do. Current management plays favorites and builds the lower managers based on favorites from drinking parties that they have on the weekends and who can talk the most crap about other employees.

I was just in the LA lab yesterday. I wish you would have pulled me aside to discuss your concerns in-person. I would be happy to return to the LA lab or the lab that is closest to you in the coming weeks. You may also give me a call. A number of the comments you have made are blatantly untrue and further, are not consistent to what we do, our culture or this facility in any way. We continue to look at our structure, make refinements and seek out high performing employees and managers to fill open positions. It is unfortunate to hear your concerns about your managers as well as Corporate Leaders and I will communicate these concerns accordingly. We will continue to look into issues brought forward and address them quickly. Please note (as discussed at the lab yesterday) we have an Open Door Policy and a confidential number for employees to call as one of many resources to resolve issues. I hope you will consider my invitation for a phone call or a visit to the LA lab or whichever facility you are actually speaking of. Our goal is to make positive change and create a culture where everyone is appreciated. Bob Cox - SVP, HR

Pros

Some growth opportunities available depending on location / current lab needs.

Cons

Since it’s part of certified group, upper management does not understand the individual needs of each lab enough to effectively run things. Mandatory overtime at most locations. Not a lot of explanation of how to do certain things or why they are done. Poor wages and terrible health insurance.
