They will lie to you in the interview. They will say that you'll get a raise with your 90 day review. They will say that they promote cross training in any department and want you to work where you feel comfortable in the building. They're lying.
What they really want is as many warm bodies as they can to fill up the room and shoulder the massive workload. I was yelled at for asking about my 90 day review and came to find out that many people there who'd worked for even a year or longer had never received a review or a raise. Also found out that they've basically stopped giving out raises because we "aren't guaranteed one after 90 days."
But I guess it doesn't really matter in the long run since so many people are leaving anyways. I've seen so many people leave/get fired since I've been employed and everyday I walk in wondering if I will be next. Oh and you will get fired for very minor mistakes. It's so bad shortcuts and fabrication are being done and hidden from management just to save more people from getting fired.
On top of that, there's abundant favoritism, poor benefits and a toxic work culture that pressures you to stay much later than the shift you'e slated for. You will lose sleep over terrible scheduling, you will lose time for the more important things in life and you will lose the will to work after coming in to the same repetitive work day after day. If you're looking for real growth and opportunity this is not the job for you.
