Pros

- Employees are lovely and willing to help when asked - Plenty of opportunities to learn the basic structure of a SaaS product/software company operations - Unlimited PTO - Good mix of local and remote employees - Powerful mission statement that is reiterated often, there is a need for the product offered - Quarterly skip level meetings

Cons

- Initial screening and exit interview do not occur with HR, but instead the Executive Assistant - Processes for contacting an HR representative are unclear - 401k matches or contributions did not exist until 2022 and pale in comparison to other companies - Medical benefits are not great - Company is not transparent about pay making it hard to decipher if even an internal transition is to be considered a promotion or lateral - Company does provide Udemy to all staff (pro) but does not reimburse/support any other continuing education opportunities or certifications (con) - Certain customer initiatives will always be prioritized over others - Some individuals in leadership are condescending in terms of tone of voice and choice of words - Work distribution amongst team members is not even - Pay is not on par with the industry, several individuals have recently parted with the company due to this con alone - Recent change in CEO - Unprofessional communication from leadership regarding individuals who have recently left for better opportunities, viewed as manipulation - Little respect for personal time and/or obligations outside of working hours - Company is SEVERELY lacking in diversity as of lately

Pros

I truly enjoyed working with my fellow team members, some of the best co-workers I have had in my professional career. They were bright and committed to FoodLogiQ's mission. The company has a lot of potential. It was nice to work on a product that can have such a positive impact.

Cons

Unfortunately, pretty much the entire executive team is incompetent and completely myopic in their strategic initiatives and management. It has caused many talented, committed employees to run for the hills. They seem to be more concerned with their title and image than their employees' morale and long-term growth of the company. It is sad to see a company destroyed by a few megalomaniacs that do not have the experience or talent to hold the positions they have, and keep it through deception, bullying, and delusion.
