Pros

I was happy with the compensation and the benefits.

Cons

Departments didnt really have great communication with each other and led to a lot of internal drama. No clear direction as to what the goal was for our departments and just doing work as it came along. Eventually part of a mass layoff that was handled...less than gracefully. The whole experience left a terrible taste in my mouth about the company and my time spent there. Micromanaging at its finest with some departments wanting to know every little detail about every little thing causing major slow downs and impairment of work.

Pros

remote work, flexibility in schedule if 1099. If FT, you are extremely micromanaged on schedule and everything else.

Cons

If you've always wanted to be a dietitian, this is probably not the job for you. You will be working primarily as a social worker and Instacart support agent. Most patients don't care to talk about nutrition and are only there for the gift cards they are given. You waste hours dragging out phone calls to meet your required units. Foodsmart pays RDs the least amount that I have seen for remote work but claim to support their members who can't afford food, while giving no regard to the pay of their actual dietitians. No annual raises, no increase in pay for number of years of experience, no respect as a clinician.
