Pros
There are a lot of pros working here at Foodsmart, especially if looking for a fully remote role. Overall this role is a lot of independent work and helps build your confidence as a RD. There are plenty of other RDs to connect with if a new clinical question arises. 100% remote Equipment provided Wellness perk ($100/mo) In person training events/ paid travel Health benefits Fun unique population to work with
Cons
These aren't really cons, but instead challenges or skills that will be sharpened while working here. Foodsmart is a newer company and with anything new and growing there are hiccups and changes. Changes implemented quickly and because there is so much independent work and trust in the RDs there can be longer wait times for support answers from management. Additionally, base pay is low for RDs who have more experience. It's a entry level pay, but there is a bonus structure that can add an extra 20-22k per year. It would be nice to have higher base pay living in an expensive city in the US.
