Pros

- We are working on a technology that will really change the way the grid works. And this is the perfect time to be scaling up given the situation in the global energy market - Great mix of talented and interesting people - Tons of interesting problems to work on - Great career and personal growth potential - Lots of opportunity to build and shape culture and process - The leadership team understands the market deeply. They’ve built a great roadmap for growth by knowing what our customers want and need

Cons

- We are trying to scale rapidly, so there are growing pains. I joined knowing this would be a tough and formative point in the company’s life, but it doesn’t seem like some others did based on other reviews - Work hours and intensity can be tough at times while we try to scale up. Don’t join if you’re looking for a walk in the park. But that said, it’s not ridiculous hours, it’s more like 50-55hrs most weeks with some longer ones during busy periods plus occasional weekend work

Pros

Fast paced company trying to do something very challenging. Great place to learn and grow, but you must be self-driven and ok with rapidly changing dynamics.

Cons

Timelines are always too aggressive and never get hit. Demoralizing for the team.

Pros

Smart people passionate about green energy

Cons

1. Toxic management who expects you to work long hours and weekend while the pay is way below Bay Area normal 2. Most execs have very little experience in manufacturing or hardware development and only interested in saving their own job 3. People are leaving at an unprecedented rate, and management is unwilling to do anything because they know they can get away with it in this market 4. Managers will sent a company wide email saying the expectation is that we will work much longer hours to make this product work, and that those that don't are being "noticed"
