Pros

Form Energy believes in its mission to meaningfully address climate change by enabling the transition to a reliable, secure, and fully-renewable electric grid in the next two decades. One can see it in the motivation that each one of our colleagues contribute every day. But we strive to go beyond the mission ... It's always true that talented professionals in search for a motivational challenge join for the mission, but stay for the values and for the experience. Ours is a long term journey and without the utmost consideration of the latter, we would not succeed. It is truly the experience that makes this company the best place I have worked at. Our values - Humanity, Excellence and Creativity - reflect the belief that we must excel in new and creative ways to tackle the immense challenge ini front of us, but never at the cost of the human values of generosity, kindness, support and love for diversity that we owe to ourselves and to our colleagues.

Cons

Not sure if this is a con, but the bar on excellence is high.

Pros

Fast paced company trying to do something very challenging. Great place to learn and grow, but you must be self-driven and ok with rapidly changing dynamics.

Cons

Timelines are always too aggressive and never get hit. Demoralizing for the team.

Pros

Smart people passionate about green energy

Cons

1. Toxic management who expects you to work long hours and weekend while the pay is way below Bay Area normal 2. Most execs have very little experience in manufacturing or hardware development and only interested in saving their own job 3. People are leaving at an unprecedented rate, and management is unwilling to do anything because they know they can get away with it in this market 4. Managers will sent a company wide email saying the expectation is that we will work much longer hours to make this product work, and that those that don't are being "noticed"
