Pros

Form is such an exciting place to work. We're surrounded by people who are smart, full of humanity, and excited to work hard to contribute something so important to the world. This is a job where people can feel proud of the company that they work for. How often do you get to work at a place with: really cool technical challenges, novel technology in a brand new market, a wonderful company culture, and in an industry that you're passionate about? Leadership is highly experienced and they do a good job of listening to feedback from all levels of the company. They are ready and able to make thoughtful decisions around whatever difficult issues might arise. Comp and benefits are not industry leading, but they are fair. For me, it's an easy choice between enjoying a great job that pays well vs. tolerating a bad job that pays the best.

Cons

We're in a very challenging growth phase as we work on scaling up our manufacturing. This means that things often feel chaotic (organized chaos!) and everyone is working hard, often long hours. While we certainly won't be in this stage forever, it is going to take resilience from the team to get through it.

Pros

Fast paced company trying to do something very challenging. Great place to learn and grow, but you must be self-driven and ok with rapidly changing dynamics.

Cons

Timelines are always too aggressive and never get hit. Demoralizing for the team.

Pros

Smart people passionate about green energy

Cons

1. Toxic management who expects you to work long hours and weekend while the pay is way below Bay Area normal 2. Most execs have very little experience in manufacturing or hardware development and only interested in saving their own job 3. People are leaving at an unprecedented rate, and management is unwilling to do anything because they know they can get away with it in this market 4. Managers will sent a company wide email saying the expectation is that we will work much longer hours to make this product work, and that those that don't are being "noticed"
