Pros

This is a great company, with amazing teams full of dedicated people who are working side-by-side to accomplish a very important common goal. Are there growing pains sometimes? Yes! Are we moving super fast all the time? Yes! Is everything perfect? HELL no! The pace isn't for everyone, true, and not everyone enjoys working for a start up, but that's ok. What we all experience here at times is fairly standard in a startup environment; what matters most are the non-standard startup things, like the legitimate mission, the company values (both stated and experienced), and the opportunity to actually for-real make the world a better place. All due respect to other startups and their missions, but the potential positive effect of Form's technology on climate change, and, by association, the world is pretty hard to beat.

Cons

In order to thrive here you have to be extremely flexible, collaborative, and ready to pivot at the drop of a hat. As I said above, the pace here is fast, and that is not something everyone enjoys. You must also be patient, kind, and as ego-free as possible. Embrace change. Problem solve with dignity, alacrity, and respect. And champion ambiguity in all forms. The company is still very young, relatively speaking, and as such we are figuring a lot of things out as we go -- this is also not for everyone, and that is also ok. The juice is worth the squeeze.

Pros

Fast paced company trying to do something very challenging. Great place to learn and grow, but you must be self-driven and ok with rapidly changing dynamics.

Cons

Timelines are always too aggressive and never get hit. Demoralizing for the team.

Pros

Smart people passionate about green energy

Cons

1. Toxic management who expects you to work long hours and weekend while the pay is way below Bay Area normal 2. Most execs have very little experience in manufacturing or hardware development and only interested in saving their own job 3. People are leaving at an unprecedented rate, and management is unwilling to do anything because they know they can get away with it in this market 4. Managers will sent a company wide email saying the expectation is that we will work much longer hours to make this product work, and that those that don't are being "noticed"
