Pros

Form Energy is one of the leading new technology companies in the clean energy industry, and the excitement, passion, and determination is palpable every day in the office. The team acknowledges that our goals are extremely ambitious and we are trying to do something never done before, but each team member approaches this reality with a humble and collaborative mindset. I am constantly impressed by how intelligent and experienced my teammates are, but almost everyone takes the time to ask about what's going on outside of work and to celebrate each other's wins. As someone early in my career, I feel very lucky to have landed at a company with inspiring leadership, a compelling mission and technology, and a supportive team.

Cons

Form Energy is moving fast to deploy a brand new technology to confront the urgent problems of climate change, and working at Form can be intense and demanding proportional to the magnitude of the challenge. Things can move and change quickly, and it definitely feels like a start-up in that some systems are still working out the kinks.

Pros

Fast paced company trying to do something very challenging. Great place to learn and grow, but you must be self-driven and ok with rapidly changing dynamics.

Cons

Timelines are always too aggressive and never get hit. Demoralizing for the team.

Pros

Smart people passionate about green energy

Cons

1. Toxic management who expects you to work long hours and weekend while the pay is way below Bay Area normal 2. Most execs have very little experience in manufacturing or hardware development and only interested in saving their own job 3. People are leaving at an unprecedented rate, and management is unwilling to do anything because they know they can get away with it in this market 4. Managers will sent a company wide email saying the expectation is that we will work much longer hours to make this product work, and that those that don't are being "noticed"
