- The company is in a great position to deliver a world-changing product - The people here are top-notch and do excellent work even despite high time pressure - Everyone I’ve met here has a sense of optimism about our ability to deliver on our commitments and is excited about that - The pace of progress here is much, much faster than my prior Fortune 500 employer, and it’s invigorating - There are very few young companies standing up brand new manufacturing operations in the US these days, and it’s awesome to be a part of a company that is

The company is moving from an R&D focus to a true manufacturing focus, and with that comes growing pains. I believe some people who were used to the R&D/small startup mentality don’t fully understand what this transition will require for us to be successful, which creates some tension and pessimism among certain folks. Fast paced company trying to do something very challenging. Great place to learn and grow, but you must be self-driven and ok with rapidly changing dynamics.

Cons

Timelines are always too aggressive and never get hit. Demoralizing for the team.

Pros

Smart people passionate about green energy

Cons

1. Toxic management who expects you to work long hours and weekend while the pay is way below Bay Area normal 2. Most execs have very little experience in manufacturing or hardware development and only interested in saving their own job 3. People are leaving at an unprecedented rate, and management is unwilling to do anything because they know they can get away with it in this market 4. Managers will sent a company wide email saying the expectation is that we will work much longer hours to make this product work, and that those that don't are being "noticed"
