Pros
- Great people to work with - Open culture - Many different nationalities to work with - Innovation at your doorstep - Never a dull moment - Good learning experience
Cons
- Highly Cambridge centric: although there is a strong desire to be more international, you have to be in Cambridge (HQ) to be noticed and have your say. - Limited long term strategy: it's all about this quarter. You'll have to get used to the pace. - Research prima donnas: the business model centers for a large part around promoting individual analysts. Although they often lack practical business experience, their egos often gets the better of them, which sometimes negatively impacts other departments and client experience. - Limited funding if you are not in research or sales: this means that you have to be creative to get the job done and have to think about alternatives if you want to do things that are commonplace in other companies.
