      Good vision, awful execution - Principal Analyst Forrester Employee Review

      Pros

      Generally very smart, well intentioned personnel who go out of their way to help clients and deliver an excellent customer experience.

      Cons

      Lousy internal technology and processes. The company seems to think that "launch a half-baked process or tool, then improve over time" is a good operating model and doesn't consider the impact on people who have to learn, then relearn, the relearn again as they iterate. It is simply not set-up to scale. Content management is a joke and employees spend countless hours searching for current content and guidance. The CEO is cringe-worthy whether it's pronouncing names, announcing layoffs, or discussing his latest vacation. The stock performance vs. peers speaks for itself.

      Pros

      Forrester is a truly rewarding place to work. I feel like I make a meaningful difference every day, both for our clients and within the organization. The colleagues here are exceptional. They are smart, collaborative, and genuinely supportive. I’m constantly learning from a talented group of people who care deeply about the quality of their work and the impact it has. The culture encourages thoughtful problem-solving, professional growth, and doing work that matters.

      Cons

      The most challenging aspect right now is the current business performance, which can create uncertainty and added pressure across teams. At times, this environment can impact workloads, decision-making speed, and overall predictability.

      Smart people work here, work-life balance is ideal if you have a good manager.

      Morale is low, leadership is extremely out of touch with the sentiments of the workforce.
