Pros
The benefits are great and most of the people are very smart and care about others.
Cons
There is 0 training in this job especially after the acquisition of SeriousDecisions. Nobody knows what they are talking about when they try and pitch a prospect. If you try to get help, you will ask a question to 10 different people and get 10 different answers. There is no coherence amongst the Sales organization. For a company that supports Sales personas in numerous markets, you would think Forrester would have it figured out internally. The people that work here extremely intelligent and have the best intentions, however, it is hard to justify this when your VP of Sales threatens your job 6 months into the role when you are at a lunch ‘meet and greet’ (no lunch provided) “You better update Salesforce, or update your resume.” Overall, Forrester is going through a ton of changes and trying to compete with the big fish like Gartner and it’s not working. There is a reason why a lot of analysts at Forrester are leaving.
