      Pros

      I have worked for other employers who are only focused on the bottom line. FSC truly cares about their employees and their program customers. The CEO is a passionate, creative woman who encourages a culture of innovation. FSC does a great job of asking for employee input and feedback, and they actually respond and make changes to drive improvements. It feels good to work for an employer who truly values my contributions and I know that what I'm doing here makes a difference!

      Cons

      As with all federal programs, there are a lot of rules and performance metrics which can be overwhelming and stressful. Our Directors do a great job of trying to balance that part of the work with the importance of serving and helping people in the community.

      Really good people with equally good intentions to help those who are in a vulnerable place.

      There was a big pressure to get people to be enrolled into the program with no financial bonus incentive.
