      Pros

      Great pay and benefits. Enjoyed working with most of my coworkers and parents who were motivated and really did want to become more self-sufficient. Loved the Monday through Friday 8-4:30 pm schedule with no weekends nor holidays.

      Cons

      Working with parents who are not motivated and just want to collect a check from the State without earning it as required through the W-2 program. Short-staffed so would be interrupted frequently with people walking in to the office. Not enough support from management. Long learning curve.

      We appreciate you spending the time to provide feedback to us. We’re glad that you enjoyed much of your experience and the pay and benefits. The workload has been a concern for us and we have been hiring to reduce this and create more efficiencies, but as you mentioned, the long learning curve in W-2 means results take some time. We also recently added an Emergency Assistance call center in an effort to handle walk-ins better so staff can focus on the customers they are meeting with that day. Things change fast in today’s world and we’re working to adapt to all of these so that our work environment is satisfying for both customers and FSC staff.

      Really good people with equally good intentions to help those who are in a vulnerable place.

      Cons

      There was a big pressure to get people to be enrolled into the program with no financial bonus incentive.
