3yThank for taking the time to leave a review. There are a couple of criticisms in here that are important to address. For PTO, most of our staff like the PTO because it allows you to use time for being sick or vacation. That way you don't end up losing sick days at the end of the year because you didn't get sick, as happens at many other companies. It is worrying that you feel "repulsed" by our usage of the Transition to Success model and I think you have missed the point of the approach. TTS does not frame poverty as a "disease," rather as a treatable condition - that is, something that can be changed. Dr. Wilson used a medical analogy because she was specifically trying to move away from the stigmatizing and disempowering conception of poverty as some sort of inherent character flaw. She is trying to show that poverty is situational, not someone's "fault." With support and services, we work with participants to understand and plan for their dreams.
