Pros

I have enjoyed my training at Foss a lot! The veteran staff are very helpful and eager to see you succeed. They have all been very welcoming and often go out of their way to learn more about me or offer support. In addition, the curriculum, class flow, and expectations set are clear and easy for teachers, students, and parents to follow. I feel that this keeps things running smoothly and every one content. I find their schedule to be very easy to work and I often want to go to work. More than once I have left work having a better day than when I arrived. Next, I enjoy the benefits of weekend hours and subbing. It makes me feel appreciated without them having to say so. Lastly, the culture at Foss is a big plus. Everyone seeks to help others, ask questions, and become better as a whole.

Cons

There are minimal cons to working at Foss. Perhaps one may be the chlorine's effects on hair and skin (not avoidable). It does take devotion to care for; however, I feel confident in my ability. Also, the managers recommended effective products. To continue, a second con is that I have been only given one uniform shirt. I completely understand that rash guards are more expensive than traditional uniform shirts, but a second would make me more likely to wash them.

Pros

Gives you space to really develop yourself skills if this is something you want to do.

Cons

It has become corporate and money driven. The bottom line is becoming more important than families. Things feel chaotic and corporate doesn’t communicate well. Management is constantly over worked and underplayed. There is no way to accomplish all of the new mandates corporate has implemented in the last few years
