Pros
Most sales associates just clock in and out and don't really care about their performance. This makes it all the easier for you to stand out. You can really take the initiative, show interest in the company, work on your quality of sales and because of the high turnover in retail you can step up to third key then assistant store manager fairly quickly. If you are motivated you can be a store manager within three or four years I'd say. And store managers at Fossil make GOOD money! The environment is friendly and upbeat and the product is great, something you can get excited about when new shipments come in. Plus the discount is good (50%).
Cons
I have noticed quite a bit of disorganization among senior management. Poor lines of communication and it can take them a LONG time to get back to you/answer questions. You have to be a little pushy to get what you want. As an associate you are not part time, but limited time. Which means you are not eligible for any benefits and won't get more than 20/wk unless it's holidays.
