Pros
-Good Benefits -Hybrid Schedule*(*Mandatory (M,W,TR regardless of role responsibilities/mtgs) -Nice Building with Cafe and Coffee Shop for purchase - Launching ERGs -Standard Holidays + MLK, XMAS EVE, NYE. - Award Winning workplace for LGBTQ+ community
Cons
-Poor Communication/Org Structure (No org charts, frequent changes, siloed communication make regular tasks difficult and difficult tasks impossible) -Frequent Layoffs/High Turnover - Many employees are nervous about if they're next and it shows up in they treat others / share information. -Culture Depended heavily on in-person holiday events without it there's not much connection/draw unless you've worked there for 10 years. Some teams have clique-like atmosphere with a lot of gossip. -DEI - Mostly Female employees but leadership teams are mostly male; PWI not many POC -Perception is more important the productivity. -Many employees are stretched too thin without support because of layoffs and lack of hiring. Many others don't see themselves being able to grow here long term because of lack of promotions. - Outdated with technology / processes. Lots of manual processes, old excel sheets and lack of standardization. - Lack of transparency/Bandwagonners - Management go along with whatever the highest paid person in the room thinks instead of being honest about what needs to change or having difficult conversations about why something won't work etc. -That's not unheard of in corp america but it's on an extreme level here. - While new ideas/innovation are championed externally; internally the same old antiquated thinking plays out until they are forced to change. If you value communication and growth I would say shop around first. You'll be frustrated within a month or two and a discounted wallet or watch isn't worth the headache.
