Pros

Sitel, and in turn Clientlogic, were at one time great companies to work for. After the merger both companies have benefited. The work atmosphere with in Sitel is often tolerable.

Cons

Sitel is beginning to faulter. The compnay is unstable. Many Sitel sites are half or more empty and will be closed at some point in the future. Sites that are successful and have plenty of work are over staffed, with unrealistic promises being made to clients, to ring every last penny out. It would appear that Sitel corporate management in Nashville is attempting to milk the company for every last bit of profit before the compnay is broken up or declares bankruptcy.

Pros

Some level of job security. You know exactly what you're doing because it's a call center. Different client projects that you could apply to be part of. Located in Orem by the mall. Decent pay ($25 an hour... for now).

Cons

You can't have anything on the call floor depending on the client (I support Intuit, so there are no phones, paper, pencils, books... nothing). The benefits are atrocious. PTO doesn't start until after 6 months. Company politics and favorites exist here. I'd say about 30% of calls get transferred to us from other departments (Payroll, Payments, Desktop, Saves, Sales, pretty much everyone) that should not have been transferred and could have been solved without us. They're going to hire more account resolution specialists soon after so many agents left, and they're starting their pay at $20 an hour.... so just think about what means for us. You get one occurrence per day you are absent even if you call in sick. I think 10 is the limit.
