Pros

Started with Sitel as I wanted to be part of company that is treating fairly its employees, structured with principles and values that are in alignment with my personal values. Through all these years my ideas were listened to and some of them were implemented. I was part of great teams and developed people in the company. All this is making my job a hobby :) I am thankful for that opportunity.

Cons

Sometimes decision taking is a lengthy process, but it is normal for so big organizations when a significant change will take place.

Pros

Some level of job security. You know exactly what you're doing because it's a call center. Different client projects that you could apply to be part of. Located in Orem by the mall. Decent pay ($25 an hour... for now).

Cons

You can't have anything on the call floor depending on the client (I support Intuit, so there are no phones, paper, pencils, books... nothing). The benefits are atrocious. PTO doesn't start until after 6 months. Company politics and favorites exist here. I'd say about 30% of calls get transferred to us from other departments (Payroll, Payments, Desktop, Saves, Sales, pretty much everyone) that should not have been transferred and could have been solved without us. They're going to hire more account resolution specialists soon after so many agents left, and they're starting their pay at $20 an hour.... so just think about what means for us. You get one occurrence per day you are absent even if you call in sick. I think 10 is the limit.
