Pros

I remember the very first day I met my direct manager and have explained the scope and responsibility of the position and at the same have told me that she wants to meet my mom. To me it tells me a lot of the organization. The culture of Sitel is around people first and the organization truly live through it. The leaders are very supportive and very welcoming. There are initiatives that strongly partners with the community which aims to create jobs and properly brand Sitel.

Cons

Like any growing organization, Sitel is making all the means and efforts to restructure and realign some of the processes and structure across the region.

Pros

Some level of job security. You know exactly what you're doing because it's a call center. Different client projects that you could apply to be part of. Located in Orem by the mall. Decent pay ($25 an hour... for now).

Cons

You can't have anything on the call floor depending on the client (I support Intuit, so there are no phones, paper, pencils, books... nothing). The benefits are atrocious. PTO doesn't start until after 6 months. Company politics and favorites exist here. I'd say about 30% of calls get transferred to us from other departments (Payroll, Payments, Desktop, Saves, Sales, pretty much everyone) that should not have been transferred and could have been solved without us. They're going to hire more account resolution specialists soon after so many agents left, and they're starting their pay at $20 an hour.... so just think about what means for us. You get one occurrence per day you are absent even if you call in sick. I think 10 is the limit.
