Pros

They try to help you in the beginning.. They are motivational in the beginning...some of the managers try to help answer questions.

Cons

Feels like organized labor. Micromanaging...They say the walkers/mentors are going to help you, but most of the time you have to wait too long, leaving the customer waiting on the phone too long. That's why Comcast has a bad rep b/c they farm out their work to other companies who pay less. Sitel may be more successful at keeping employees if they had more user friendly software. The software is hard to navigate and you waste more time correcting codes so the computer will accept it. Also having 8-10 different usernames and passwords is excessive and overboard. Also kind of a click....you either fit in or you dont. The more successful you are the more they like you b/c you know its all about the money, today.

Pros

Some level of job security. You know exactly what you're doing because it's a call center. Different client projects that you could apply to be part of. Located in Orem by the mall. Decent pay ($25 an hour... for now).

Cons

You can't have anything on the call floor depending on the client (I support Intuit, so there are no phones, paper, pencils, books... nothing). The benefits are atrocious. PTO doesn't start until after 6 months. Company politics and favorites exist here. I'd say about 30% of calls get transferred to us from other departments (Payroll, Payments, Desktop, Saves, Sales, pretty much everyone) that should not have been transferred and could have been solved without us. They're going to hire more account resolution specialists soon after so many agents left, and they're starting their pay at $20 an hour.... so just think about what means for us. You get one occurrence per day you are absent even if you call in sick. I think 10 is the limit.
