Pros

Remote work, Sundays off, paid insurance license training

Cons

I was not told until I began working for the company that we would be starting with taking auto insurance calls; but then we would be up skilled to do property and life insurance. This triples the call volume, length, and complexity of calls and we get absolutely no raises for it. The only raises are due to merit increases or position changes.

We offer extensive training and ensure that our associates have the resources and support they need to help alleviate that stress. Pros

Some level of job security. You know exactly what you're doing because it's a call center. Different client projects that you could apply to be part of. Located in Orem by the mall. Decent pay ($25 an hour... for now).

Cons

You can't have anything on the call floor depending on the client (I support Intuit, so there are no phones, paper, pencils, books... nothing). The benefits are atrocious. PTO doesn't start until after 6 months. Company politics and favorites exist here. I'd say about 30% of calls get transferred to us from other departments (Payroll, Payments, Desktop, Saves, Sales, pretty much everyone) that should not have been transferred and could have been solved without us. They're going to hire more account resolution specialists soon after so many agents left, and they're starting their pay at $20 an hour.... so just think about what means for us. You get one occurrence per day you are absent even if you call in sick. I think 10 is the limit.
