Pros

Six weeks crash course of training on QuickBooks and all the features it offers in a variety of packages, how it operates, etc.

Cons

VERY minimum training on how to troubleshoot QuickBooks. You are thrown on the floor like a head-on collision, receiving calls from all over the country to troubleshoot problems. You have a chat group, a forum to research and Google to look up the issues! More than half the employees quit after being put on the floor! At that time, there were NOT any work-at-home positions.

Pros

Some level of job security. You know exactly what you're doing because it's a call center. Different client projects that you could apply to be part of. Located in Orem by the mall. Decent pay ($25 an hour... for now).

Cons

You can't have anything on the call floor depending on the client (I support Intuit, so there are no phones, paper, pencils, books... nothing). The benefits are atrocious. PTO doesn't start until after 6 months. Company politics and favorites exist here. I'd say about 30% of calls get transferred to us from other departments (Payroll, Payments, Desktop, Saves, Sales, pretty much everyone) that should not have been transferred and could have been solved without us. They're going to hire more account resolution specialists soon after so many agents left, and they're starting their pay at $20 an hour.... so just think about what means for us. You get one occurrence per day you are absent even if you call in sick. I think 10 is the limit.
