Pros

I can’t think of any pros

Cons

I worked here for four months from January to May. I had turned in my two weeks notice because I didn’t like the environment at all. The whole room wasn’t on the same page like a real team. The customers leave us bad survey scores on how we handled the call. They sometimes do this in moments when there isn’t much we can do for them because we are following the client’s policy. Our leaders listen in on the call and if we did certain things wrong we get written up. This isn’t the worst part. There was a bed bug infestation at this company within the last two weeks being there. As a result, My whole family found bed bugs in three rooms of our house and we are still struggling with treatment for the house to this day. How is this company still in business? People have quit all around me feeling like this the worst place to work.

Pros

Some level of job security. You know exactly what you're doing because it's a call center. Different client projects that you could apply to be part of. Located in Orem by the mall. Decent pay ($25 an hour... for now).

Cons

You can't have anything on the call floor depending on the client (I support Intuit, so there are no phones, paper, pencils, books... nothing). The benefits are atrocious. PTO doesn't start until after 6 months. Company politics and favorites exist here. I'd say about 30% of calls get transferred to us from other departments (Payroll, Payments, Desktop, Saves, Sales, pretty much everyone) that should not have been transferred and could have been solved without us. They're going to hire more account resolution specialists soon after so many agents left, and they're starting their pay at $20 an hour.... so just think about what means for us. You get one occurrence per day you are absent even if you call in sick. I think 10 is the limit.
