Pros

Foundever is a fine company to work for. Most positions pay between $15 - $17/hr. The company is well managed, with decent benefits, and usually responsive to HR concerns. However, there is not much upward mobility unless you want to become a Coach or Learning Specialist, and train other people.

Cons

The issue with Foundever is its clients. The companies that Foundever provides services for have very high performance expectations for a customer service representative. Some of the performance metrics are unreasonably high, and hard to measure up to. Also, some clients have unreasonable call grading standards, because they expect you to have practically perfect calls, hit all of the requirements in the script, and they unfairly deduct points if you fail to do so, resulting in lower call quality scores. The company also chases after those CSAT surveys in team competitions. I think this creates an unnecessarily stressful, even toxic, work environment. All that seems to matter is did you get a good enough CSAT survey. The call may have gone very well, and the customer was satisfied with your customer service and resolution. However, the customer still failed to complete the survey, for whatever reason, and it makes it look like you're not doing your job well enough, since the client is only looking at the call metrics and the call quality score. Overall, Foundever's client base have unreasonably high performance expectations, and you should probably think twice before working for this company, unless you can maintain at least a 90% across the board.

Pros

Some level of job security. You know exactly what you're doing because it's a call center. Different client projects that you could apply to be part of. Located in Orem by the mall. Decent pay ($25 an hour... for now).

Cons

You can't have anything on the call floor depending on the client (I support Intuit, so there are no phones, paper, pencils, books... nothing). The benefits are atrocious. PTO doesn't start until after 6 months. Company politics and favorites exist here. I'd say about 30% of calls get transferred to us from other departments (Payroll, Payments, Desktop, Saves, Sales, pretty much everyone) that should not have been transferred and could have been solved without us. They're going to hire more account resolution specialists soon after so many agents left, and they're starting their pay at $20 an hour.... so just think about what means for us. You get one occurrence per day you are absent even if you call in sick. I think 10 is the limit.
