Pros
Oh man, so many pros. Personally, my team is built of strong and encouraging individuals who are always willing to lend a hand to one another when we are in the weeds. Creativity is encouraged, and grueling weeks are always capped off with the acknowledgment of our efforts and some celebration on the company dime. As a young professional (woman, queer), i've had very rare an opportunity to work under another woman in leadership who counts my successes as her own, and her own successes as nothing other than a team effort.
The benefits are spectacular!! Insurance is cheap with good coverage, PTO/FTO is progressive, and the discount on furniture is nearly a steal!
Almost every person I've met and worked with is kind, funny, creative, and a joy to be around. The company culture is generally progressive and inclusive.
Cons
I would say I'm fairly underpaid for my role, especially in comparison to the current market rate for my position. While HR is approachable, I am not aware of regular comp increase processes or performance review processes that would allow an opportunity to ask for a comp increase or comp match at the market level.
