Pros

Great work atmosphere - I've never had such a positive environment in which I truly admired and got along with everyone in my office. There's a lot of potential to move up in the company if you do well.

Cons

I was in a unique position because I was hired in an office abroad. I was the only American in the office and was being paid wages that were normal in that country - which is about 3x less what I would have made doing the same thing in the U.S. and a barely livable wage for that city. I stuck it out for a few months for the experience, but after a performance review in which I was told I was doing an amazing job but would not receive the raise I requested, I left.

Thank you so much for your feedback, and comments as it relates to the positive environment and opportunities to grow within Fragomen. We are sorry it didn't work out for you to remain with the Firm on a longer term basis. We are committed to being competitive in terms of compensation in all of our global locations, in addition to providing challenging work and progression opportunities. This is something we constantly try and address by looking at local market salaries, as it is clearly not possible to pay the same in all of our different locations worldwide. We would love to hear more from you, as we hate to lose talent - feel free to contact me directly at gwhyld@fragomen.com - I am the head of Talent Acquisition for Fragomen. Thanks, Gary

Pros

Decent overtime pay. I also had a decent training/onboarding experience, but this was not the norm.

Cons

Exploitative, 80+ hour work weeks, 2am messages from attorneys, burn-out model for paralegals and associates (scoop them up after BA or JD and overwork them until they quit), misrepresent case load during interview by 50% of total, low ceiling for non-attorney career advancement. Have an exit plan.
