Pros
- The people. I love my coworkers to death. I feel a strong sense of camaraderie amongst my team members, and that is a big plus for me, particularly in an office work environment. - Competent attorneys. My lead attorney is intelligent and trustworthy, and I respect that. My ideas are taken into consideration and I am offered help anytime I ask. I don't feel intimidated or discouraged when it comes to asking for help. - Solid work flow. Personally, I love being busy at work. At Fragomen, you are sure to stay busy from the moment you clock in to the moment you clock out. Some people don't like that aspect of this firm, but I find it to be satisfying and encouraging.
Cons
- High turnover rate, due to the large volume of recent college graduates hired. Not a bad thing, just a bit difficult at times. - HR issues. They try hard, but in general, they're not the best when it comes to doing their job efficiently and accurately. - Problematic managers. I have coworkers who absolutely abhor their managers, and for legitimate reasons. Lots of managers at Fragomen who treat their employees (paralegals, case managers, TSS's, etc.) as expendable resources. I was fortunate enough to not have that experience, but it is definitely an issue amongst certain teams in the office.
