Pros
- My managers are really nice and I don't feel like they are my controllers but rather my coworkers. We are actually all working together to get the job done and each of us plays a specific role. That translates to the company as a whole, as I communicate with other employees across the world and everyone is really nice and willing to help with the task at hand. There a level of respect that is maintained throughout the company. No matter what office I've dealt with. - High retention rates. I can see myself staying at this job for a long time. There have been people who have been working here their whole lives. It can be the last job you take if you want. - Pay is hourly which is actually really good. If you work overtime then you get overtime pay. - Pay & Benefits - LOTS of PTO. You get more the longer you work there at different milestones. 5, 10, 15yrs. - In my current role there is a lot of growth for the department as a whole. It's what I make of it. - Office holiday parties (Thanksgiving, Halloween, Superbowl, etc...) - My job let's me keep in contact with a wide range of people across all the offices around the world. Cons
Some of the upper management may be stuck with old ways of thinking and some initiatives can be held up. That being said, there are always updates as the company does make strides to keep up with changing technologies.
