Pros
I live less than 10 min away. The pay is decent. I do love the hours and no weekends.
Cons
Total disrespect by mgmt, voiced concerns go unresolved, workload is completely unrealistic yet you are still held accountable for the workload regardless of its impossibility, open-door policy is stated but is NOT followed through with, staff treated like elementary school aged children in that they are told they are not allowed to speak to each other outside of break times, room for growth and advancement is cherry-picked by mgmt regardless of the actual skillset, good people have been fired, "ran off," and their employment record severely tarnished as they were labeled as not eligible for rehire. Mgmt takes the ideas of their employees and submits them as their own. Training is all fictitious yet employees are held accountable for information as if it were presented to them. HR "hangs out" with mgmt and professes an open door policy but when one requests assistance, they are turned away and then later reprimanded for it. The absolute WORST is how the Franciscan values are preached but not adhered to. Mgmt will use them to their benefit and/or convenience but deny the values with their own professional lifestyle. For a religious organization, this is absolutely unacceptable. I seriously doubt that the sisters are fully aware of any of this.
