Pros

Reasonable compensation package from base and commission, but it can change. Through your own dilligence one may learn about the lumber and millwork distribution business.

Cons

Everyone works in fear of senior management. Virtually no performance reviews or helpful direction on how to improve your skills. Tight control on sharing results with sales producers. Constant turnover of mid level managers.

Pros

Great place to work. Fun laid back group of guys to work with. Very dedicated to servicing customers and producing a high quality product.

Cons

Training program is lacking. They do promote with in but promotions are rare due to very low turn over rate.

Pros

Probably none, the only good thing I got out of working here was forklifting more but that had nothing to do with the company. You can learn to forklift anywhere else.

Cons

Management is incredibly unorganized. They do not care about the employees. Machines are incredibly outdated and they refuse to replace any of them. Communication is horrendous and the gm micro manages and doesn’t know how any of him employees feel about the business and how it operates. The gm will do whatever it takes to make money putting all his employees second. And they don’t give bonuses or reviews for pay raises
