Frankenmuth Insurance is a great insurance company to work for. The company is located in Frankenmuth, Michigan; which is a great place to live in or around with a great school district. The upper management is very flexible, approachable and they create a great working environment between all the different departments. Teamwork is one of their core values and is displayed throughout the leadership roles within the company. The employee benefits are great and includes a yearly profit sharing based on the company's success. There are also many opportunities to advance your career if you're willing to do continuing education courses, which are encouraged by the company and many times also paid for on successful completion of the program.
Cons
My personal con is working during core hours. The company's goal of working during core hours is to help service outside vendors and customers, so the company's intentions are genuine. Frankenmuth is a smaller town, which may be seen as a con to younger people. It is a tourist town, so keep that in mind, as there are many things to do within the city limits.
