Pros

It is a very rewarding job! You can truly feel and see the difference being made in the lives of all the clients.

Cons

They do not tell you everything. I was fortunate enough to work in a room where the behaviors were not so bad, but in some of the rooms it is constant temper tantrums. I felt that they did not fully warn new employees of that.

Thank you so much for your feedback. We are always looking for ways to help candidates have a thorough picture of the role for which they're applying. We've recently implemented realistic job previews for final candidates in order to provide a comprehensive picture of each role. There are indeed roles at Fraser that involve working with children who have high behaviors. These roles are both challenging and rewarding to those who chose to provide services with this population. And we are grateful for the compassionate and knowledgeable care they provide.

Pros

Supportive, laid-back culture. Opportunities for growth. Work/life balance.

Cons

The cons are outside of their control (county/state policies make the work difficult at times)

Pros

Great support and on boarding process. Work from home option. PTO is easy to take and find coverage for.

Cons

Pay is good compared to similar roles, but needs to be more. Health insurance benefit is expensive.
