Pros

Working at Fraser feels right. I love helping our clients, working with other employees, and making a difference. Our clients receiving mental health services are unique, most having autism/intellectual disabilities and a co-occurring mental health disorder. Most Fraser programs started because a family came forward and asked for it. I've worked in our housing areas, and now the adult mental health area. Fraser builds on strengths of employees works to engage employees in discussions and decisions when possible.

Cons

Fraser mental health clinics are not private practice. I think when some therapists start here they are looking for more freedom to do what they want. However, this is also a positive because clinicians can spend time doing interventions with clients and less time with the administration side of therapy.

Thank you so much for this thoughtful review! The stories of services added as a result of community-driven needs are endless. Our culture most definitely centers around how to provide excellent service to our clients and families. And we have the privilege of working with talented staff to accomplish these goals each and every day. Thank you for making a difference at Fraser!

Supportive, laid-back culture. Opportunities for growth. Work/life balance.

Cons

The cons are outside of their control (county/state policies make the work difficult at times)
