Not even close to the job I signed up for - Behavior Practitioner II Fraser Employee Review

Pros

Decent pay, fun kids to “work” with.

Cons

Not even close to ABA. Fraser’s “ABA” program consists of a run of the mill curriculum which does not individualize the goals or targets to the client’s individual needs. This violates the BACB code of ethics in at least 2 ways, and is by definition abusive in practice, as it serves the company’s financial interests more so than the interests of the child and family of the child. If you want to actually work to help children learn new skills in ways that are beneficial to themselves, don’t try to do it here or you will be ostracized for doing so.

Fraser Response
4y
Fraser is committed to maintaining standards of best practice according to the Board of Behavior Analysis and the State of Minnesota. Both require that our services are individualized, based on the priorities of clients and families, and evidence-based. We are disappointed to read that someone felt differently and did not share those concerns with us during their employment.

Pros

Supportive, laid-back culture. Opportunities for growth. Work/life balance.

Cons

The cons are outside of their control (county/state policies make the work difficult at times)

Cons

Pay is good compared to similar roles, but needs to be more. Health insurance benefit is expensive.
