Pros

learning about a field that has the potential to make real changes in people's lives

Cons

absolutely no hands-on training. manager never had time to sit down and talk with people - only made it appear like she did until she gaslighted everyone into agreeing they were happy. With how poorly trained everyone was it made me feel especially guilty because that meant no one was accurately, or consistently, following the treatment program - so the kids weren't being helped as much as they could have.

Pros

Supportive, laid-back culture. Opportunities for growth. Work/life balance.

Cons

The cons are outside of their control (county/state policies make the work difficult at times)

Pay is good compared to similar roles, but needs to be more. Health insurance benefit is expensive.
