Pros

Flexible scheduling for exempt employees Positive team culture Interaction with clients On-going training and productive team meetings One hour computer/task time in the morning prior to clients arriving, and about 30 mins after clients leave, and sometimes during the day when clients go to other services.

Cons

Structurally not the best design for kids Over-crowded classrooms, hallways, bathrooms, and break rooms. No close parking for everyone- about a 15 min walk from the designated parking lot. Fast turn over for staff Inconsistent teaching styles Lack of employee appreciation Lack of communication Repetitive issues that are not addressed Improper sanitization/infection control and food handling. 30 min break which often feels like 20 mins because it takes time to settle in (microwaving food, clocking in/out, relocating personal items from room to room, using the bathroom, walking across the large building to get to the preferred break space). Group time is often stressful and disengaging. Daily billing/documentation is tedious. Scheduling staff and clients could be done more fairly by using a consistent template that gets changed every once in a while to prevent favoritism among teachers and clients.

Supportive, laid-back culture. Opportunities for growth. Work/life balance.

Cons

The cons are outside of their control (county/state policies make the work difficult at times)
