Pros

Fortune 500 Very good name to have on résumé Opportunity to work for a global company and travel internationally Salary and bonus are higher than average for Phoenix If you love office politics and big corporate bureaucracy, this is the place for you.

Cons

You will be worked to the max. Management has unreal expectations deliverable timelines then complains when mistakes are made. Don't work hard and expect to be promoted, it will never happen. The harder you work, you will be given more and more of the same type of work, thereby inadvertently becoming a specialist. As result, management will pass you over for promotion due to the niche you put yourself in. Management will fill your head with all sorts of fantasies of promotions and working all over the world. Once again, this will never happen. They will tell you whatever they feel you need to hear to get you to come in and do whatever work you have been assigned. Management want pliable people they can push around. If you have an opinion about how things should be done, either keep it to yourself or you will be stuck in your job for the duration of your time at the company. Lastly, if all else fails, when discussing career development, management will tell you "You don't want to do that, you're in a better opportunity to advance in your current role". If you still persist, you will eventually be told vague and ambiguous reasons such as attitude and other behavioral issues are holding you back. All while you regularly see management berate and yell at you and your co-workers on a fairly regular basis.
