Living on Government Subsidy ... Don't see an upside. - Network Engineering Frontier Employee Review

Benefits were lack luster. HR was all but useless. Technology leadership was non-existent. CTO would rather work on his own pet projects/system then run the tech part of the company. Many Directors and above are way over their heads. Latest Verizon management were just looking for promotions and left their employees to fend for themselves. Company has little money to invest in its network and is living on CAF II funding. If it can't be charged to CAF II then it doesn't get funded. Many records are being tracked by Excel spreadsheets and accountability is nonexistent. To many people saying .., that's not my job.
