The office space was pleasant. Most colleagues tried hard within the circumstances they were given.

Chronically understaffed. The entire office operated on a skeleton crew while every role carried triple the work it should have. I handled responsibilities that belonged to three different positions while people in charge made decisions from above that did not reflect workload demands. Requests came in constantly. I stayed late regularly to prevent things from falling apart, often skipping lunches and extending my days by hours. I spent hours training temporary staff who would leave after a few weeks.
