Pros
As a leader in the transport space FNC is working hard to maintain this leadership role. One avenue is to add services - data services (ELINE, ELAN, SOAM....) and OTN. This provides ample opportunities to get involved with new/different technologies. FNC is in a position where there are more things to do than staff, so finding exciting things to do is very easy if you are interested.
Cons
The Japanese business culture can be difficult to deal with. They ask a lot of questions and you are often left wondering why they are asking.
