Pros
I think the majority (though certainly not all) of the people who work here are well-intentioned and try to help students have a positive seminary experience.
Cons
Working here feels like you are on a runaway train to nowhere and I think there are too many big egos in upper management right now for this institution to ever return to the point where it is somewhat functional and economically viable. For example, everyone acknowledges that the Board and Management have made egregious financial errors in the past, and also that these were never dealt with, but somehow people are able to sweep all that under the rug because of the people implicated. The institution as a whole loves setting up complex rules and procedures, but actually following through on them is a different story; if you're part of the "in crowd" the rules don't apply to you. As one other reviewer observed, there's a lot of communication from the top, but it usually lacks any real substance, mainly because they just don't know what they are doing.
