Pros

Snacks, a few cool co workers, flexible start time

Cons

,No direction in your career. I was hired to do fulfillment and nailed that quickly, so they moved to be a special programs coordinator, a job they pulled out of thin air with almost no guidelines or training. I'd come in everyday asking what I should do, and received no coaching or training. I even learned how to do other people's jobs to supplement my time, and what did they do? They wasted my time and "laid me off" right before the holidays. The reasoning? There was none. -Management is disorganized and they offer no career development or coaching. -People talk about each other -Paychecks were paper, who still issues paper checks?? Had issues with my money clearing several times. -The whole place is a mess. They need an overhaul of management, period.

Pros

Pay was reasonable, gained relevant & diverse experience, schools/staff were mostly easy to work with

Cons

No benefits, depending on the school you are working with there can be little communication or understanding of a virtual teacher's unique needs, no guaranteed work (for Virtual Staffing you might know if you are assigned a school in July at the earliest], long periods with no available jobs; contract work & taxes
