Pros

Worked with a caring administrative staff which hasn't always been the case. However, administrators are really starting to take into account what the full gambit of teaching students can be like, especially since March 2020 when teaching virtually was so very new to everyone. My school gave teachers plenty of support, but you still needed to do additional learning on your own in order to navigate as well as possible with your classes.

Cons

Time is never a commodity in teaching. There is simply not enough time in the day to do everything that should be done for your students, but you will learn how to keep your sanity as you do as much as you are able to do in one day. One has to learn how to stop, reboot the next day, and just put your time in as effectively as one can. Teaching is a career that demands more of you than you can possibly give as a human being so be kind to yourself and get some sleep!

Pros

You get a wide variety of schools to work with.

Cons

South Fulton and Alpharetta are really far away from the city center, and there can be a lot of favoritism in those areas. Paraprofessional pay is very low, and that can sometimes be the only thing that is available on Aesop. You may barely have a break to take your lunch - 30 mins or so.
