      Good benefits, strong support at my school, good pay

      Cons

      The biggest downside I didn’t know of before going to this county is that they have “continuous achievement levels” for math. So I was one math teacher and had to teach on level math, one semester ahead, and one whole year ahead. No extra planning time.

      You get a wide variety of schools to work with.

      Cons

      South Fulton and Alpharetta are really far away from the city center, and there can be a lot of favoritism in those areas. Paraprofessional pay is very low, and that can sometimes be the only thing that is available on Aesop. You may barely have a break to take your lunch - 30 mins or so.
